Queen's Domain Trident Keys: Obmuer Temple Doors and Key Sources
Find the Trident Keys needed for Obmuer Temple, learn when to retrieve a key from a lock, and separate the main route from optional doors.
You do not need every Trident Key to finish Obmuer Temple. Collect the keys on the main route and check whether a key can be removed from a lock after you open another way through. Extra keys serve optional locked doors. This is a guide to the keys, not to the Trident weapon.
Follow the main route first
- Search Obmuer Temple's accessible rooms and the area near its save point for the keys used by its early doors. Do not assume that every visible multi-slot door blocks the main route.
- After opening a door, inspect its lock again when you have reached the other side or opened a bypass. Players report that keys can be taken back and reused in other slots.
- If an optional door still needs another key, continue the story before treating it as a dead end. The Ceremonial Trident can yield a key as it levels; another becomes available from the shop after the Tower of Knowledge boss.
These steps reflect reports from players of the October 2026 release build, including the Temple key discussion and a route guide with game screenshots. The sources agree on reusable keys and later sources of extra keys. They do not establish a reliable total for every late-game puzzle, so this page does not promise an exhaustive key count.
Trident weapon versus Trident Keys
The weapon and the door keys are related, but have different jobs. The weapon guide covers finding and using the Trident. This page covers lock slots, retrieval and optional doors. A player discussion about weapon evolution also reports a key appearing when the Ceremonial Trident reaches level 5; check the item name and level in your own build before spending resources.
If a door remains locked
- Revisit a lock you have already used and test whether its key is removable.
- Check unexplored rooms around the temple's save point before looking for a later-game key.
- Keep optional treasure doors separate from the route to the temple boss. If you are lost rather than short of keys, use the walkthrough.
Source limits: These are first-hand player reports and a screenshot-based route, not an official key database. Door layouts and availability may change in a later patch; confirm against your installed version.
